Hand Numbered Limited Edition of 12,000 pieces. * This building is hand-numbered, #6,709. * Set includes castle-inspired sand color building with clean lines and " University Gate" accessory, both with royal gold accents. * Vita sine litteris mors est is Latin for " Life without learning is death." Veritas et Vetitus is Latin for " Truth and respected." *** FRAGILE. Please take care to only handle by the solid porcelain sections of the building. ** We recently received almost the entire Christmas in the City, Alpine Village, Dickens' Village, New England Village, North Pole, Disney Parks Village series and other Dept 56 villages from a former dealer and serious collector who took great pride in her collection. In order to list as many pieces as quickly as possible, we may just show the box/sleeve in the photos. We absolutely promise that all buildings and accessories list are in perfect, working condition with all separate attachments included. For serious buyers, we are more than happy to take pictures of the individual items prior to shipment at the buyer's direction. USE & CONDITION Used seasonally by a long-time collector. Cleaned each year prior to being stored in climate-controlled environment. Small chip on roof edging (repainted). Detachable hanging sign is missing. Box / sleeve with some shelf wear with small tears (repaired). Light cord and NEW bulb are included. ** We use a "ring" lamp to photograph many of our items. We also use a lot of Styrofoam in our shipping process. If any presumed defects are noted in the photos of any of our pieces, they are likely from the light's reflection or a stray small flake of Styrofoam that was not noticed during the photo session.
